Low 999 hpa, Northern Switzerland, linked to an altitude cold drop over Northern Italy, the whole system drifting slowly east while filling. Extended disturbance ruling over the Alpine area until Tuesday with frequent precipitation. Probably improving from Tuesday evening and gradually changing to a weak high pattern over France with fairly low gradient, fairly sunny and mild, driving a NE stream over the Alps and allowing for some diurnal instability. Possible deterioration during the week-end.
