Brendon Burns

Australian comic Brendon Burns has been performing comedy since the early Nineties and is known for his aggressive
stage presence and controversial material. He briefly hosted the 11 O’Clock Show and even more briefly the ITV2 spin-off show I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here Now!, walking off after just three shows. However it is live ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú and especially in his solo shows ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú where he has forged a reputation, with six live CDs to his name.

He has also performed at Montreal and South African comedy festivals He first appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1996, hosting The Comedy Zone showcase of new acts, and performing in his debut solo show 6pm Time To Get Up For Work. He has returned to the Fringe every year since, except for 1999, and in 2007 won its top prize, the if.comedy award
A trilogy, Burnsy versus Brendon, which ran at Edinburgh examined his own life ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú culminating in his mental breakdown and drinks and drugs rehabilitation at the Priory.

ENGINE-EARZ EXPERIMENT (DJ SET), NICOLAS DUVOISIN AND THE WINTER SESSIONS CREW

Nicolas Duvoisin is the local hero of minimalist house and techno with his label Fantastic Friends based in Geneva. His slick style and Swiss precision has won him countless gigs around the world in some of the most selective locations.

JFB is the UK 2007 DMC Champion which speaks for itself when it comes to decks mastery. His collaborations with the likes of Beardyman and his own night Battlejam mean we should be expecting some fireworks on the decks with this one. Engine-EarZ – what is there to say? Revolutionary.

Shiny Disco Balls – Engine-EarZ Experiment by Engine-EarZ and DJ Luxy

Groundbreaking! These guys have headlined Glastonbury BBC Stage, performed two BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale sessions and have only just released their first single ‘Kaliyuga’.

The Indian inspired dub step is a sound like no other and they have been said to be the next Rage Against The Machine crossed with the Prodigy. Hold tight for the audio ride of your life!

Winter sessions 2010. Two rooms, tremendous artists and the best funktion one sound system in the entire Alps. This year has grown in to the beast that is over 40 events over 5 months across the Alps.

Well it’s a big party isn’t it? You know the kind of thing. Wicked live music, all the people you know having it. What’s not to like. Basically, if you’re going out on New Years or any other night that winter sessions are on in 2010, you’re going to the Podium. Enjoy.
